120 FPS supported devices for BGMI and PUBG Mobile
Read this before the list. There is no single official Krafton document naming every 120 FPS phone. Every list you find online - including this one - is assembled from community reports and other aggregator sites, and those sites disagree with each other on specific models.
Treat everything below as community-reported as of September 2026, not as a manufacturer guarantee. Support depends on your game version, your region and client (PUBG Mobile Global is not the same whitelist as BGMI India), and your exact SKU - two phones with the same chipset and different model numbers genuinely get different menus.
The only ground truth is your own graphics menu. Update the game, lock your display to 120 Hz, set Graphics to Smooth, and see whether Ultra Extreme appears. That test beats every list on the internet, including this page. If your result differs from what's below, tell us and we'll correct it.
What “Ultra Extreme” actually means
In BGMI and PUBG Mobile the frame-rate options run in a fixed order:
Power Saving → Medium → High → Ultra → Extreme (60) → Extreme+ (90) → Ultra Extreme (120)
Ultra Extreme is the 120 FPS setting. Extreme+ is 90. Some device-list articles get this backwards and call 120 FPS “Extreme+” - if a page tells you that, treat the rest of its list with caution too.
Two things gate that option:
- Your graphics preset must be Smooth. This is the one people miss most often. HDR, Ultra HDR and Extreme HDR block the higher frame-rate tiers outright - the option won't just perform badly, it will be absent from the menu. Here's what each graphics tier costs.
- Your device must be on the game's internal list. The game checks your model against an allow-list rather than measuring your hardware, which is why a capable phone can still be capped at 60.
The hardware bar
Before the brand tables, this is roughly where the floor sits. A device below any one of these lines generally won't get Ultra Extreme regardless of what a list says.
| Requirement | Typical bar for Ultra Extreme |
|---|---|
| Display | A real 120 Hz panel. A 60 Hz phone never gets true 120 FPS - that's physics, not a whitelist decision. |
| Chipset | Roughly Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 or newer, Dimensity 9200 / 9300 or newer, or Apple A15 and up with ProMotion. |
| RAM | 8 GB minimum; 12 GB+ holds up better over a full match. |
| Thermals | Gaming phones (ROG, RedMagic) sustain 120 far longer than slim flagships. Most phones can reach 120; fewer can hold it. |
| Game build | Updated to a version whose whitelist includes your device. |
Mid-range chips generally stay at 60 or 90 even with a 120 Hz screen. Most Snapdragon 7-series and mid-tier Dimensity devices fall here. A 120 Hz panel on its own is not enough.
Community-reported device list
Widely listed means several independent lists agree. Confirm in-game means reports conflict or the model appears on only some lists - check your own menu before believing it.

Apple iPhone & iPad
| Models commonly listed | Status | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| iPhone 13 Pro / Pro Max | Widely listed | ProMotion required; commonly the oldest iPhone on these lists |
| iPhone 14 Pro / Pro Max | Widely listed | - |
| iPhone 15 Pro / Pro Max | Widely listed | - |
| iPhone 16 Pro / Pro Max | Widely listed | - |
| iPhone 17 Pro / Pro Max | Widely listed | - |
| iPhone 17 (base) | Confirm in-game | New for 2025: the base iPhone 17 does have a 120 Hz LTPO ProMotion panel, unlike 14/15/16. Whether the game whitelists it is a separate question - check your menu |
| iPhone 14 / 15 / 16 (base, non-Pro) | Cannot do 120 | 60 Hz panels. No tool or setting produces 120 unique frames on these |
| iPad Pro 2020 and later | Confirm in-game | A12Z, M1, M2 and M4 generations appear on some lists |
Known iOS quirk. On ProMotion iPhones the adaptive 1–120 Hz panel sometimes refuses to lock high, so 120 can feel worse than 90. The commonly reported workaround is to select Ultra Extreme, fully quit the game, toggle Settings → Accessibility → Motion → Limit Frame Rate on and back off, then relaunch. That's a community fix, not an official one.

Compiled September 2026 by cross-referencing publicly available device lists. Krafton's own developer notes rarely name full SKUs, so no list - ours included - should be treated as authoritative. Version context commonly cited in mid-to-late 2026 guides: PUBG Mobile 4.5.x widened 90 and 120 FPS support, with earlier waves (3.2, 4.0, 4.2) each adding devices.
How to enable 120 FPS, step by step
- Lock your display to 120 Hz Settings → Display → Refresh rate, and choose the highest fixed option. Depending on your phone it's called Refresh rate, Motion smoothness, Smooth display or High. Adaptive modes usually work, but a fixed 120 removes one variable.
- Open the game and go to Graphics Settings → Graphics in BGMI or PUBG Mobile.
- Set Graphics quality to Smooth Do this before looking at frame rate. On any other preset the higher tiers stay hidden, and this single step resolves a large share of “Ultra Extreme is missing” reports.
- Open Frame Rate and select Ultra Extreme If it's there, you're done. If it isn't, see the troubleshooting section below.
- Verify it in training mode Turn on the FPS display and check you're actually seeing roughly 110–120, not sitting at 60 or 90. Selecting the option and achieving it are different things.
Ultra Extreme is missing - why?
In rough order of how often each one turns out to be the cause:
- Graphics isn't set to Smooth. HDR and above block 120 entirely.
- Your display isn't locked to 120 Hz, or battery saver has quietly dropped it to 60.
- Your device isn't on the whitelist for your client and region.
- Your game build is out of date - whitelists expand with updates.
- Region or SKU mismatch. A Global PUBG Mobile list is not evidence for BGMI, and an international model number is not evidence for the Indian variant.
- Thermal throttling - if it appears, works for ten minutes and then feels like 60 again, the option is fine and your phone is getting hot.
The full troubleshooting guide covers eight causes in order, and this one walks through checking your own refresh rate if you're not sure where your phone stands.
BGMI and PUBG Mobile are not the same list
This trips up a lot of Indian players. BGMI is a separate client with its own build cycle and its own device whitelist. A device confirmed working on PUBG Mobile Global may not show Ultra Extreme in BGMI, and the reverse happens too.
If you play BGMI, look for BGMI-specific confirmations rather than Global ones, and be especially careful with Indian SKUs of OnePlus, iQOO, POCO, Realme and Infinix devices - those are the models where regional variants most often diverge from their international counterparts.
Officially supported vs. forcing the option
Worth separating clearly, because this site publishes a tool in the second category.
The official path
- Your device is on the game's whitelist
- Graphics set to Smooth
- Ultra Extreme selected in the Frame Rate menu
- Nothing third-party involved
If your phone is on the list above and the option appears, you don't need any app. Use the official path.
Third-party GFX tools
- Unofficial, and not endorsed by any game publisher
- Write the configuration value that exposes hidden frame-rate tiers
- Only relevant when your hardware qualifies but the whitelist doesn't include you
- Cannot help a 60 Hz phone, ever
Publishers set their own rules about third-party software and enforce them at their discretion. We can't speak for them - the publisher's terms of service are the only authoritative source on what's permitted.
Be sceptical of any page claiming a tool unlocks 120 FPS on any device. That claim is false on its face: a 60 Hz panel cannot display 120 frames per second, and no software changes that.

Frequently asked questions
Is there an official Krafton list of 120 FPS devices?
Not a single published global document naming every SKU. Krafton's developer notes mention when support widens but rarely name full model lists, which is why every device list online - this one included - is community-assembled, and why they disagree with each other.
Can the base iPhone do 120 FPS?
Depends which base iPhone. The 14, 15 and 16 have 60 Hz panels and cannot display 120 frames per second at all. The base iPhone 17 changed that - it has a 120 Hz LTPO ProMotion panel. Whether the game whitelists it is a separate question from whether the hardware can, so check your own Frame Rate menu.
Why is Ultra Extreme missing even though my phone is on the list?
Most often because Graphics isn't set to Smooth - HDR and above hide the higher frame-rate tiers completely. After that: display not locked to 120 Hz, an out-of-date game build, or a region or SKU mismatch between your phone and the list you read.
Does 120 FPS work the same in BGMI and PUBG Mobile?
The mechanism is identical but the whitelists are maintained separately. A device confirmed on PUBG Mobile Global is not proof it works in BGMI, and vice versa. Indian SKUs in particular can behave differently from their international equivalents.
Can I use HDR graphics with 120 FPS?
No. The higher frame-rate tiers require Smooth. That isn't a performance recommendation - on HDR and above, Ultra Extreme is not present in the menu at all.
My phone has a 120 Hz screen but only offers 60 FPS. What now?
First confirm Graphics is on Smooth and your display is locked to 120 Hz. If the option still isn't there, your device isn't on the whitelist for your client - a software decision rather than a hardware limit. This guide covers how to tell the two apart.
Will a gaming phone actually hold 120 FPS?
More reliably than a slim flagship, yes. Reaching 120 and sustaining it across a twenty-minute match are different things, and active cooling is what separates them. On most phones a locked 90 beats a 120 that collapses mid-fight.
